My work sits between applied energy-sector modelling and academic research.

At Wien Energie, I lead quantitative analysis for planning and investment questions. At BOKU University, I am affiliated with the Institute of Sustainable Economic Development. The interaction between these roles makes the assumptions embedded in energy system models a practical concern rather than an abstract one.

My perspective is informed by work in utilities, grid infrastructure, energy markets, and research. I am most interested in models that remain simple enough to reason about, but rich enough to capture the constraints that matter in practice.
